When it comes to custom car creations, Florida really knows how to push the limits—especially with a six-wheel-drive Land Rover Defender. Meet the World Ender, the latest wild ride from Apocalypse Manufacturing, a Pompano Beach shop that specializes in extreme off-road vehicles.
This bold new model is the first six-wheel-drive Defender built on a modern unibody design, making it a game changer in the world of custom trucks. The World Ender isn’t just about looks; it’s ready to take on the iconic Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6, a favorite among off-road enthusiasts. Get ready for an adventure like no other!
Joseph Ghattas, founder and CEO of Apocalypse Manufacturing, is clear about his vision for the World Ender. He boldly stated, “This vehicle combines our skills in making tough, high-performance luxury machines that can outshine the legendary Mercedes G-Wagon 6×6.”
His confidence isn’t misplaced; the World Ender aims to redefine luxury, capability, and power in the six-wheel-drive market. It’s not just about looks—it’s built to dominate!
Apocalypse Manufacturing has turned the rugged Land Rover Defender into an impressive six-wheeled beast while keeping it practical. The World Ender still features third-row seating for passengers and adds a spacious 4-foot pickup bed for extra utility.
The rear axles are mounted on a custom subframe, and for better fuel efficiency, the back axle can be disengaged when not in use. CEO Joseph Ghattas explains that since no lift kit existed for this model, they created their own, allowing for a factory-like feel with extra height.
With huge 38-inch tires on 20-inch wheels, the World Ender can adjust its ride height by up to 8 inches using a custom air suspension. It also has a wider stance, enhanced by 2 feet, with fender flares to fit the larger tires. Other cool upgrades include a roll cage, a roof rack for extra storage, and a sturdy push bar, giving it an aggressive look and added functionality.
The World Ender is a powerhouse, boasting a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces an impressive 518 horsepower. This beast powers all six wheels through a special gearbox, ensuring top-notch off-road performance. While torque numbers aren’t specified, the regular Carpathian Edition offers 461 pound-feet, so the 6×6 likely matches that.
Though we don’t know its exact weight, the added axles and custom features make it heavier than a standard Defender, which may affect acceleration. However, for buyers of the World Ender, sheer presence and capability are what really matter.
The first model has already been delivered to a customer in Jacksonville, Florida, and orders are now open, starting at a hefty $374,999. This makes the World Ender even pricier than Apocalypse’s previous 6×6 models, like the Ram 1500 TRX-based Juggernaut.
