Very sleek line and stylish curve of the V-motion grille makes a bold statement, giving it a daring and distinctive look.
The new Nissan Patrol is finally here, replacing a model that had been around for 14 years. While the 2025 Armada in the U.S. drops the V-8 engine, the Patrol still offers a naturally aspirated V-6 engine option. This new model, set for release in 2024, will come with either a powerful twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 or a 3.8-liter V-6 with 316 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. Though the turbo engine delivers significantly more power, there are still good reasons to choose the naturally aspirated version.
The base model of the new Nissan Patrol comes with a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated V-6. It’s more affordable and might be seen as more reliable since it lacks the twin turbos. However, it will likely consume more fuel, especially because the Patrol is large and heavy. Both engine options use a nine-speed automatic transmission and power both axles.
There’s no word yet on a high-performance Nismo version of the new Patrol, but given Nissan’s recent trend with models like the Ariya Nismo and Skyline Nismo, it wouldn’t be surprising.
Upgrade your drive with Nissan Intelligent Mobility. It enhances your awareness and reactions, working with you and sometimes even taking action on your behalf. It’s all about making your journey safer, more sustainable, and exciting, paving the way to a brighter future.
The Patrol will be available in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf countries, as well as in Australia, where it’s also called the Patrol. It’s set to hit the Middle East market on November 1. Interestingly, no diesel engine option has been announced.
