Rolls-Royce Phantom ‘Goldfinger’ edition
  • Rolls Royce showcased a new one-of-one Phantom Extended that celebrates 60 years since the debut of the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger.
  • The Goldfinger Phantom Extended draws inspiration from the 1937 Phantom III Sedanca de Ville driven by Auric Goldfinger in the 1964 Bond film.

The car is filled with Easter eggs including an 18-karat-gold Speedform model and seat trays that show a fictional map of the Fort Knox bullion reserve in 22-karat gold.

Sometimes, you just have to call your lifelong contact at Rolls-Royce and say, “I want a custom car inspired by my favorite Bond villain.” That’s probably how this unique Rolls-Royce was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the classic 1964 film Goldfinger. It’s a stylish tribute that blends luxury with a touch of cinematic flair!

Aston Martin recently unveiled a limited Goldfinger DB12, with only 60 models made. It’s nice, but it can’t quite compare to a special Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended inspired by the 1937 Phantom III Sedanca de Ville—the perfect fit for a Bond villain’s ride.

The Goldfinger edition isn’t just inspired by the movie car; it’s identical! The yellow paint matches the exact shade of Goldfinger’s car, and the floating hubcaps echo the classic ’37 design. It’s a true tribute to the iconic film!

The car is a stunning tribute to the film! Inside, you’ll find gold accents everywhere, from the seats to the glovebox. The center console hides a vault with a solid 18-karat-gold model, and a golden putter on the trunk lid nods to Bond and Goldfinger’s first meeting. Even the picnic trays in the back are special, featuring a 22-karat-gold inlay shaped like a map of Fort Knox, which Goldfinger tried to sabotage.

But that’s not all! The Phantom’s Gallery, stretching across the dashboard, showcases a hand-drawn 3D map of Furka Pass, where Bond chased Goldfinger. It took a year to create! Plus, the headliner mimics the constellations above Furka Pass on July 11, 1964, the last day of filming in Switzerland. Now that’s some serious attention to detail!

The details keep coming! The clock on the dashboard mirrors the famous “gun barrel” sequence from every Bond film. Plus, when you open the trunk, a light projects the 007 logo onto your luggage, nodding to the tracking device that Sean Connery used in the movie.

This is what a one-of-a-kind car should be! If you’re going to invest a fortune in a single vehicle, it might as well be as cool as this!
