The Fourth of Koenigsegg’s legendary hypercars marks a big shift in how we see Swedish cars. Since 2002, when the CC burst onto the scene, the image of Swedish vehicles changed from beige Volvos to high-performance machines. The CC’s wild design, scissor doors, and amazing speed made it a true road missile, second only to the Bugatti Veyron.

Next came the Agera, which broke numerous speed records and even beat Bugatti’s top speed. Then there was the Regera, an innovative hybrid hypercar with a powerful twin-turbo V8 that also set records before retiring in 2022. Now, Koenigsegg has unveiled its latest creation: the Jesko, available in two versions—Absolut for record-breaking speed and Attack for dominating race tracks.

Christian von Koenigsegg wanted his latest hypercar to be unique, and that’s clear from its name. While many hypercars are named after famous races or founders, the Jesko is named after Christian’s father, who inspired his love for design and racing.

But there’s more! The Jesko Attack variant is called Odin, named after the fierce Norse god of war and death—father to Thor, the god of thunder (and Marvel superhero). It’s a name that evokes power and fear, just like the car itself!

The Jesko Attack is a jaw-dropping car. With its low profile, scissor doors, and massive rear wing, it commands attention. The special “Odin” version features exposed “naked carbon,” making it both lightweight and strong—only 1.3 tonnes!

But that’s not all: the Odin shines with gold flakes and a real gold leaf finish, creating a stunning look that sparkles in the light. Bold accents like the Slingshot Stripe and Apex Stripe add to its aggressive style.

The Jesko Attack is all about its powerful engine. At the heart of this supercar is a custom 5.1L twin-turbo V8, the same engine as the previous Agera but upgraded. It features a flat-plane crankshaft, two 20-liter air tanks, and an electric compressor.

This beast delivers an incredible 1,280 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. But if you fuel it with specialized E85, the Attack roars to life with a whopping 1,600 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque!

Most supercars today have 8 or 9-speed dual-clutch transmissions, but the Jesko Attack stands out with its unique 9-speed Multi-Clutch gearbox. This system allows for lightning-fast gear changes, making the driving experience exhilarating.

Paired with the powerful 5.1L Twin-Turbo V8 Volcano, it can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds and reach a staggering top speed of 310 mph. However, these impressive stats aren’t even the Attack’s best features!

The Jesko Attack is designed for serious performance, featuring a massive rear wing that generates over 1,400 kg of downforce at top speed. Unlike many Koenigseggs made for quarter-mile sprints, the Jesko Attack is built for conquering race tracks. It has already set records at Gotland and Laguna Seca!

There are only 125 Jeskos in the world, including both Attack and Absolut versions, each costing over $3 million. But the “Odin” is truly one-of-a-kind—only one has ever been made, valued at around $5 million. While that’s a hefty price for a car, for something this fast, advanced, and special, it’s considered a real bargain!
